CEO – Nate Gemmiti, JD
Nathan Gemmiti (“Nate”) serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Ibexis. In leading the strategic direction and the day-to-day management of the company, Mr. Gemmiti brings his experience in founding Knighthead Annuity & Life Assurance Company.
At Knighthead Annuity, Mr. Gemmiti and his business partner took an idea and eventually built a fully functioning insurance company that grew to generate $235 million of annual revenue. Prior, he was an Operating Partner at Apollo Management LP, where he assisted in the launch and growth of Athene Annuity.
He is a lawyer by training, having started his career at a large New England-based law firm and served as General Counsel of a publicly traded reinsurance company.
He is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Saint Anselm College. He is admitted to practice law before multiple courts of law, including the Supreme Court of the United States.
Chief Actuary –Alex Rupelli
Alex Rupelli serves as the Chief Actuary and leads all aspects of the actuarial function including pricing, product development, ALM, ERM, capital management, and financial reporting. Most recently, he was the Chief and Appointed Actuary of Global Atlantic Assurance limited.
Prior to that, he worked in various positions of increasing responsibilities at Athene Holdings. He also held multiple jobs in Actuarial consulting. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University.
